Yesterday, January 30, 2023, in the Committee of Supply, the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Governance, Hon. Gail Teixeira M.P., provided responses to questions from Members of Parliament regarding budgetary allocations for a number of agencies.
Among the agencies represented by Minister Teixeira are:
The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs and Governance, and its subvention agency, the Integrity Commission, Guyana’s sixteen constitutional bodies, the Office of the President, and the Guyana Defence Force.
In an effort to efficiently respond to questions posed during the Committee of Supply, Minister Teixeira is supported by Deputy Permanent Secretary, Kamene Seepaul (centre), and Research Officer, Anil Persaud (left).
The estimates of all the agencies represented by Minister Teixeira have been duly considered and approved by the Committee.
