HAPPENING NOW || The Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Governance, Hon Gail Teixeira, who is also the Government’s Geographic Member of Parliament for Region 7 is currently meeting with Toshaos and other village leaders from villages in the Lower Mazaruni distrcit to listen to concerns and get a better understanding of the communities’ plans for 2023.
This is the first meeting of this nature in 2023, however, Minister Teixeira constantly meets with the representatives to have discussions on various topics throughout the year.
Also present at the meeting are the Regional Executive Officer and the Prime Minister’s Representative in Region 7, along with a team from the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs and Governance.
