Ambassador Lynch joined the Guyana Council Of Organisations For Persons With Disabilities along with government officials and stakeholders to raise awareness for the International Day for Persons with Disabilities. The Ambassador hosted a reception to discuss key takeaways from the National Youths with Disabilities Conference including strategies undertaken by the GCOPD to achieve new projects and commitments.
In her remarks, Ambassador Lynch highlighted the work of several young disability rights advocates. She noted, “We owe it to the young people here, brimming with potential, to move towards meaningful action that transforms their lives and opens up the opportunities they deserve, to create the future they envision for themselves.”
