Meet and greet hosted by the Consulate in Toronto, Canada

Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Governance, Hon. Gail Teixeira, on Friday evening, attended a meet and greet hosted by the Consulate in Toronto, Canada. Minister Teixeira provided an update on developments in Guyana to members of the Diaspora in attendance. Consul General (ag), Mr. Gerald Whyte, and Executive Assistant to the Consul General, Nutana Singh were also present at the event. It was the first in-person gathering since the COVID-19 pandemic and notably, Minister Teixeira was the first to visit.
